When friends in the UK moan about the high incidence of ‘corrupt African leaders’, first I refer to all the fine example of non corrupt leaders of integrity such as Sankara, Lumumba, and Grenadan, Maurice Bishop. Secondly I point out the highly sophisticated corruption of western leaders from the capitalist world – we have no leg to stand on.

I hold Sankara most high in my value system of people who are examples for the whole world.

Blaise Compaore is back to Burkina Faso in defiance of all that he has done; despite him having abandoned his citizenship to escape justice. This move has been aided by Eyadema II who wants to see the impunity that his family organized in Togo spread to the region, and to Africa.

Blaise Compaore must be arrested right now in BF where he just landed. Justice for Thomas Sankara and Justice for Africa.
